Job Title: Senior Accounts Officer (Accounts Payable / Receivable)

Job Summary
- Manage accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring accurate financial transactions, compliance with financial policies, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices, payments, and financial transactions.
- Manage accounts receivable, monitor outstanding balances, and issue reminders for payments.
- Ensure timely vendor payments, resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations for accounts payable and receivable.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors for issue resolution.
- Generate financial reports and provide insights on cash flow and payment trends.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Assist in developing and implementing financial controls and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle) and MS Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- ICAN/ACCA Certification is an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and stakeholder management.
Benefits
- Salary: N350,000 – N400,000 monthly.
