Job Title: Senior Accounts Officer (Accounts Payable / Receivable)

Job Summary

• Manage accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring accurate financial transactions, compliance with financial policies, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices, payments, and financial transactions.
• Manage accounts receivable, monitor outstanding balances, and issue reminders for payments.
• Ensure timely vendor payments, resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for accounts payable and receivable.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors for issue resolution.
• Generate financial reports and provide insights on cash flow and payment trends.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Assist in developing and implementing financial controls and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle) and MS Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• ICAN/ACCA Certification is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and stakeholder management.

Benefits

• Salary: N350,000 – N400,000 monthly.
